    The Bicycle Center was originally opened in 1968 in Fairfield, CT by John Coulter. But in 1984, John moved the Bicycle Center to its current location on Federal Road in Brookfield, CT.

    Since then, the Bicycle Center has grown to a full service and sales shop. In 2004, the current owner, Shawn Emmerson took over the shop and continues to provide top notch service, family bikes, and a friendly atmosphere.
